St Eds got Talent, 26th February 2010
An amazing event will be held at St Edmund’s school Canterbury on Friday 26 February at 7.30 pm in the School Hall – ‘St Ed’s got talent’.
The pupils are pleased to stage a talent show to discover the best entertainers that the school has to offer. Watch twelve acts battle it out in front of esteemed judges for the coveted prize. All funds raised will go the Stella Rogers Appeal!

THREE PEAKS CHALLENGE
In addition to the 50 mile Canterbury Walk Duncan Mann, Tim O'Brien and Dean Mawson will be undertaking the three peaks challenge (for those reading who don't know, this involves climbing the three highest peaks in the UK) to raise money for Stella. We will be doing this in the latter part of July, 2010, and aiming to complete the challenge in under 24hrs.

Crayford Pub Sing and Swing, 27 March 2010
Sing & Swing for Stella
Singing for Stella is the inspired idea of Karen Fairlie and her friend Sara, who decided that fund-raising could also be heaps of fun as well as useful. The ladies belong to the Dartford Amateur Dramatics Society and after hearing of Stella’s plight from college friend Sue, Stella’s auntie, Karen decided to ask her fellow performers to each sing a song for Stella. The venue is the Charlotte pub in Crayford, where landlords Peter and Geraldine Lucia-Hennis will be providing a buffet and holding a charity auction – something they are experienced hands at. There will also be a karaoke and a raffle.

Bellinis Fundraising Party, 1st April 2010
Come along to Bellini’s fundraising party in Leigh-on-Sea, on Thursday April 1st from 8pm till Late!
To help raise funds there will be a suggested £10 donation on the door, with all proceeds going to Stella’s Appeal.
Featuring Duvet a covers band playing hits by the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Nirvana, Oasis, Kings of Leon amongst others. In addition the fantastic Goldmaster Allstars, a 10 piece ska band will perform! Plus DJs!
Party shoes to the ready and yay, no school the next day!

City of London Quiz Night II 1st April 2010
AUBERGE, QUIZ NIGHT AND RAFFLE!
Following the success and oversubscription of the previous quiz night in early February, Laura Jones, a friend of Stella’s aunt, is organising a second quiz night and raffle on Thursday the 1st of February from 5.30pm
For venue details click here. The venue has capacity for 260 people, so there should be plenty of room, so please invite as many people as you can!
Same details as last time really (other than the venue):
- Teams of six (ish)
- £5 per person
- Bar will be open from 17:30
- Quiz starts at 19:30 on the dot
- Raffle will be drawn at the end of the quiz (if you’ve got anything you’d like to donate as a prize please let us know!)
Auberge have been kind enough to offer 5% of the bar takings on the night to Stella’s Appeal, plus it’s Good Friday the next day so for the vast majority there will ll be NO WORK IN THE MORNING!!! With a happy hour running from 18:00 – 20:00 (£2 a pint, bottles of wine £6) – we recommend you spend loads at the bar, safe in the knowledge you can have a lie in the next day.

Keep Stella Smiling Fundraising Evening, 24th April 2010
Come along to a fundraising evening on Saturday 24th April 2010! Doors open at 7pm at Sidcup Rugby Club, Sydney Road, Sidcup
Tickets are £15 for an individual ticket or £40 for a family ticket which will admit 2 adults and up to three children – This includes a welcome drink for everyone, buffet and a live band.
There will be an auction and a raffle.

Regents Park Summer Race 3rd July 2010
Spurred on by people like James Montgomery and his plans to run a 1000kms this year for Stella, Stella’s aunt and a group of friends are planning their first ever running event this year.
The event is a 10k run in Regents Park.

Guess the Exchange Rate, 17 August 2010
Stella’s auntie is running a competition to guess the EUR/USD exchange rate which will end on the 17th August 2010.
The winner will receive a case of wine!

Royal Parks Half Marathon 10th October 2010
There will be 10 runners participating in the Royal Parks Half Marathon on the 10th October – they will be raising funds for Stella’s Appeal via sponsorship.

A 1000kms for 2010, 3rd January 2011
Having heard about Stella’s Appeal from a friend James Montgomery has come up with a great way to raise funds. James will be running 1,000km throughout 2010, with some of the distance falling into great events such as the London Marathon! All runs will be tracked with GPS and the SportyPal App… you can see progress by clicking here.
